Ok, here's mine, it arrived today :-) And the look on my face is NOT indicitive of how I felt at receiving the card, but more because I had to reach and stretch with my one finger soooo far to press the shutter release (while still trying to hold the camera steady.....I keep forgetting I have a tripod now *sigh*)

More because I had a migraine and had spent the previous night puking my guts out, actually, but avoiding it for that reason also makes sense, I suppose. :P

Awwww. :(

Well, please don't avoid it for that reason - it's pretty darned ridiculous if we've reached the point where harassment runs that rampant.

No, I got indication that I will be receiving one, and I hadn't won anything (for quite awhile now; my projects haven't really been up to snuff).

Since they're being signed by hand, by Eric, I think the latter.

I reckon it's a way of showing appreciation to contributors who haven't won stuff.

Well, as Eric wrote in the Sister Forum topic: Instructables Halloween Cards
We sent them to top authors by number of Instructables, by page-views, top commentors, people who have previously won contests, and others. Since we did all this by hand (and had a couple of snafus along the way!), if you didn't get one, that doesn't mean you're not awesome; it means we screwed up and forgot to ask for your address. But, we'd still like to send you one! So, ....
(see Forum link above)

I believe the delivery robot is going by sea, so it may take a bit longer! Hopefully he's not devoured by a giant squid on the way.

There's be a delay thanks to this week's two-day postal strike... :-(

a 2 day strike? Around here, the obsolete labor unions rarely strike for only 2 days. I wouldn't be so worried about it being eaten by a squid though, maybe one of those card sharks might get it though ;-)
