Is ABS/PLA filament from china okay to use in a makerbot. ? Answered

The price difference is what throws me off, should i be worried about the quality of this filament vs the $48 makerbot filament?

You don't have to use filament from makerbot in your makerbot printer. Just be weary of quality of the cheaper stuff. The filament diameter may not be very consistent.

When using ABS plastic it is more important to know what temp range your head needs to be heated to. Some printers have an optional temperature lower adapter that will allow for non vendor plastic spools to be used in their temp range.
