The solid back-lit modules cannot be bent without damaging them, because they are made with glass.Newer OLED displays can be manufactured on a flexible substrate -- there's even a new cel phone with a curved display...but they are a) rare, b) expensive c) very specialized.so, it can be done, but its not feasible for the end user.

no, they're currently only in prototypes and a very select few phones.
