is there any instructions to build a servo motor woth a DC motor.?
Whereas this can be done - and may be worthwhile if you need a particularly powerful servo or a particularly small unit BUT it's hardly worth while. Just for the mouldings and mechanics alone your going to be struggling to make/buy them.Servos cost very little in actual fact.

Well, yes. The motor is generally geared down, and the final shaft has a potentiometer attached to it, to tell the electronics where it is. An amplifier is connected to the motor, and basically, the diffference between a voltage representing the demanded position and the signal from the pot is amplified and used to drive the motor. Steve
