Is there any way to make hot glue more elastic? Answered

I'm planning on casting some objects out of hot glue with a mold, but hot glue is a bit too stiff for the result I want.
Is there anything I could mix with the melted hot glue to make it more elastic?

I've been researching and I gonna use silicone caulk instead, it will fit exactly in what I need. Thank you Burf for the tip.

Why not make them out of silicone caulk instead?

There are a number of different hot glues. You could try looking for one with greater elasticity. But I don't think any of them will be significantly elastic when molded unless the stick is elastic, and I don't know of one which has that behavior.

Try something other than hot glue?

Well hot glue is solid before it goes into the gun, and after it comes out it mostly hardens in like 5 seconds, so nothing that I can think of.
