Is this a good foundry burner design? Answered

Is this a good design for a a foundry burner? The hose hose for the natural gas are connected with jb weld. The thing on the back is a way to connect my output of my shopvac to the burner. The pipe attached to the other pipe is for the oil hose to be connected to. The front is tapered inward for a venturi effect. Its welded to the other pipe and I think I might put some jb weld over it to air proof it. I need to grind down the front of the oil pipe to make it flat with the outside pipe.

I see what may be a couple of problems. If that main pipe gets very hot, the JB Weld will soften and lose its adhesiveness and that's if the O rings in that air compressor fitting don't melt first. If your intent is to pipe gas through an air compressor line, not a good idea. Any failure in the gas line and you have an uncontrolled flame thrower, not a foundry.
Re-think you design using fittings and pipe suitable for gas lines, not compressed air.

I don't think that the entire pipe gets hot. That is my understanding, also, if it does I can http://www.backyardmetalcasting.com/oilburners08.html do this
Also, a way I can prevent the flame from getting all the way back to the propane burner is with a metal screen. Like this: http://www.popsci.com/diy/article/2009-12/gray-matter-built-lamp-doesnt-explode . I could put this right behind the oil burner which would prevent the flames from getting behind it.
