What is the average age there? 22? I thought at least a few younger people would show up.

It works great hasn't broke yet and I am using up to 5 bands in tests. I had my brother, friend, and fiance' try it out. They all liked it a lot. It is kinda fun with the dark gray single slot connector acting as the rear sight too. Makes aiming a bit easier. I have a few different designs I was working on this one is the one I ended up going with so far. I plan on posting a few more ideas soon.

What exactly does that turret mod do? And can you post the videos on youtube?

the turret mods is great for a few reasons. First the turret pin aka the black rod I replaced the silver spacer on the end nearest the gun body with a blue spacer and blue clip. The reasoning behind this is to keep everything together if the turret falls off or is removed for maintenance. No more lost silver spacers. As for the turret itself during the war my friend was having trouble with his trigger for a bit. The problem was that over time the connection of the y cons to the red connectors would wear causing them turn inward slightly jamming the trigger from being pulled. This would obviously be a problem. So I had to design a better trigger hence the new trigger. But before I had a chance to look at it he decided it was best to throw the gun to the ground turret first smashing the 6th layer snowflake connector into the 5th open layer. I originally left the 5th layer open for ease of disassemble not thinking someone would smash it in like that but now I realize I needed a sturdy 5th layer! lol The 5th layer consists of a white "snowflake" connecter with y cons on it to evenly space and support the turret as a whole. The prevent the tan clips from sliding off and also keeps the entire turret super super solid. Because I jammed green rods into the turret between the y cons as pictured it allows the tan clips to be used which saves on blue clips. Most people don't have millions of blue clips so it is a nice feature to have. Before without the green rods you couldn't use tan clips because it would offset the turret shooting the projectiles either right or left depending on how it was made I cannot recall which direction it angled the turret. So overall it is really really cool. To sum up the turret improvements... It is stronger, more supported, has a super solid 5th layer making 6 extremely solid layers, allows for tan clips to save on blue clips, and if the turret is ever removed... no more lost spacers! So that is pretty much the improvements and only problems from the war on my TR8. No broken pins or anything like that. Gun shot great again and now with these mods should be even better. I am going to test the mods out for a few weeks have my friends put them threw hell and see how it all turns out! I am very very excited the gun is working better than ever!

Ok but the extra turret layer still doesn't make sense. My turret is plenty solid, and the barrels aren't offset by the tan clips.

load it up with red rods the will aim right of your barrel line unless you add the green rods and the 5th layer is added so the 6th layer doesn't ever ever ever smash threw into the empty hollow 5th layer as it did at the war when the gun was thrown. Trust me it is an incredibly useful layer

I've done that already. They are straight. Also why are you throwing guns?

my friend threw his gun cause the trigger jammed lol :P Throwing a little fit lol

Would you mind taking like... I don't know... a ton of pictures! I would love to see the types of guns that were brought, the people, the park, all that stuff. Once you have taken them all, post 'em in a forum topic. That would be really cool just to see.

Yeah not much reason to bring anything else except TRs, NARs, and some ZKARs, and variations on those. There is a reason they are so popular.

I know. I have never been to "the" war, do people even bring secondaries? If they did it would probably be a MeZak of some sort.

we have lots of fun gun ideas in the works and we did bring some other guns but in an outdoor war environment currently the TR series preforms the best. But that can all change someday.

If you have my TR8 built make sure to make the changes pictured on my TR8-2013 ible or above. The new trigger works even better than before. It has a much smoother action and doesn't jam over time as pieces wear down. The previous trigger the y cons would tend to wear over time causing them to turn inward jamming the trigger slightly. The new trigger solves that issue and actually is way smoother and nicer than before. The new turret pin if it ever falls off or you need to take it off to work on the gun has no spacers near the rear that can fall off. The turret too is improved. At the war my friend was frustrated with the trigger and through it to the ground turret first. The back of the turret jammed into the open 5th layer making it a mess. It should really never be an issue but since it was a pain to fix I decided to make a solid 5th layer as pictured above. The nice thing about the new layer is that you can now use tan clips to replace a few of the blue cons since I know they are more rare for most people. I got away with this by jamming the green rods in the turret ZakS inspired he had white rods in there which accidentally straightened out the turret lol. So I have green rods to clean up the design and added the white snowflake with the y cons on it to secure everything in place nicely and really sturdy. I love the mods and I will be having it go threw some extensive testing over the next few weeks.

Well I did, but next time I will definitely bring a TR of some sorts. Even my TR revolver wasn't made well enough for this... toward the end the gun's trigger mech wasn't working so I started pull and releasing got better range that way though.

Overall: Everyone brings the same things is because the know they work, and work very well.
