not to be rude or anything but that fn2000 is not a red dot sight, it is a scope. i know this because i know a lot about weapons and it's on mw2.

fn f2000: fabrique nationale (fn) is the company who manafacture the f2000 gun, and secondly it is a red dot sight and you can also get scopes and also mw2 is very false about the guns, like the barrett 50 cal is underated... i know way more on weapons then you would, for instance who made the m16, who made the barrett 50 cal? try awnser these...

Colt makes M4A1s for the US army. Canada has a contract from colt for their C7 rifles. Colt owns the design. Its not called the Barrett .50 cal, its the M82.

Not to be rude, but it is a scope. It has slight magnification.

yeh, but i dont see like sniper rifle using it...

thats because its an assault rifle, riflemen dont often use thes sorts of assault rifles, they prefer either rifles like the sa80 or sniper rifles inc: remington r700...etc.

Any weapon sight that gives magnification is classed as a scope.

He's talking about MW2, in which if you shoot someone in the chest with it (sometimes) they can carry on running around.

Ah, the FN2000. A great design, especilly it's grenade launcher, compact size, and it's sights make it an impressive gun. I would love to see this made in knex, but really, add a grenade launcher to it. Because grenades own.

No, he was right with FN2000.  Fabrique Nationale, a Belgian company, make the FN2000.

I know, but the original F2000 had a special grenade launcher which automatically adjusts the angle of the launcher depending on the distance to target. I wish I could show you the video but I forgot how it's called.

Select as Best AnswerUndo Best Answer

user
TheDunkis (author)TigerNod2010-03-31

I thought it had a special sight that tells you how to adjust the gun so it has the proper angle to hit the target? Hence that big part on the top without rails.
Well, it's an interesting design but I just don't care for it for some reason. I'd prefer a TAR-21.

Select as Best AnswerUndo Best Answer

user
TigerNod (author)TheDunkis2010-03-31

That with the special sight is what I meant to say. And I agree, TAR is better because it is an assault rifle, not an personal defence weapon.

The FN2000 isn't a PDW?!  Have you seen the size of it when someone is holding it?  And it fires a rifle round...

TigerNod (author)knexguy2010-03-31

Read it again.

"...TAR is better because it's an assault rifle, not an PDW...."

According to wikipedia, The FN2000 is an assault rifle. So I guess the smart people at Wikipedia are right - after all, they are the experts.

Select as Best AnswerUndo Best Answer

user
knexguy (author)TigerNod2010-04-01

I know, but the way that comment was phrased made it sound like you thought the TAR-21 was better than the FN2000 because it wasn't a PDW, suggesting the FN2000 was a PDW.

Select as Best AnswerUndo Best Answer

user
TigerNod (author)knexguy2010-04-01

That's correct, before I checked the Wikipedia page I thought it was a PDW. I probably confused the P90 and the FN2000.

Select as Best AnswerUndo Best Answer

user
knexguy (author)TigerNod2010-04-02

Oh, ok.  The FN2000 was based off the P90 so it's not a hard mistake to make.
