Log Skateboard Answered

This log skateboard sculpture by Oliver Schulze reminds me of this cartoon by Jeremy Fish. Nice and ridiculous.

Come to think of it. We have some spare mountain board trucks in the office. Anyone have any suggestions of what to put them on?

Looks like a natural log. Has anyone tried it with a common log and a ten-base?

I think it is Goodhart's postulate on Kiteman's Zeroth Law of Instructables. If it is punny or a joke only .01% of the general population might get and has not been posted elsewhere, then post. There is value in something inifinitesimal even though we don't know how high or low the pun or joke may be.

and the chances of my posting a pun increase logarithmically as the day goes on ;-)

A pair of skis?

A surfboard?

An ironing board?

Fix one to each of a pair of shoes? Or clogs (so you can fix the trucks with woodscrews)?

Cut a three-foot length of drainpipe into two (longwise), and fix the trucks to that, so can ride a half-pipe anywhere you like?

A long shallow planting tray, sewn with grass-seeds, then you can surf the turf?

A short piece of scaffolding pole, to add a surreal touch to grinding the rail?

It was meant to be a visual pun...

Ow ow ow ow ow! Imagine that thing hitting you in the shins when you mess up! Regular skateboards hurt enough. :P Does look neat, though.

A: The log is cool, if not rather Flintstones-esque B: Rocket powered skateboard that works?
