Machining Service (Lathe and Milling Machine) Answered

Hi Everyone, I'm a self employed engineer from Lincolnshire, England. I have a Lathe and Milling machine for doing small jobs and projects. I would like to offer my services at to the instructables at very competitive prices. If you email me a sketch of what you need making I can draw it in CAD for you to approve. We can sort out payment and delivery on a job by job basis. Thanks for reading. Pleas PM me if you're interested.

I have a a job for you if you are still accepting them. I need 6 aluminium end caps for a set of rollers. Still tweaking the design, but I figure this is far enough along to get a quote. The diameter of the part is 3.5 inches. Let me know if you are interested.

Maybe I can help with production.
Write the desired aluminum alloy and drawing on cnc5axiscut@gmail.com

I hope John is not against that I would write in his theme?
If no .Please PM or e-mail and I remove this message.

Thanks for getting in touch.

I would be very happy to send you a price (see below), it's just delivery cost might be prohibitive as I'm based in England. I can sort out fedex or similar if you want to go ahead.

The cost would be approximately £80 for the materials + £100 for labour + uk taxes and delivery.

I have assumed they are to be made out of aluminium look about an inch deep?

It might be more cost effective to have them 3D printed?

Hey, Tom. Welcome to Instructables! Do you make projects yourself? If so, we would love to get some I'bles created showing your work.

Also, you may want to consider removing your presonal e-mail address from this forum topic -- SPAMbots love to skim e-mails from public sites :-( You can configure your preferences so that any time someone uses the internal "PM" message system, you automatically get an e-mail notification. It's awkward, yes, but maybe less awkward than having to filter through new SPAM.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm designing and building an electro-mechanical air / steam engine with solenoid operated valves at the moment. I post up the design drawings and photo's when it's finished.
