Maglev Train using Electromagnets Answered

I have made a simple maglev train, using Electromagnets. It uses repulsion. and everything is working....except Propulsion. How can I propel it? I can remake the project if required.

Do you have alternating sets of electrified magnets along the railpath that are optimally spaced to pull the train forward? You have to think like an electric motor that has been unrolled and laid out flat.

No I don't, but I can do that if that makes propulsion possible.

Then you should research how maglev trains work. There are electromagnets involved but the secret is is in how they are implemented. Simple search will tell you how.

The original schemes for maglev trains had trains fitted with jets or propellers (think "swamp boat on rails").

That's what I am going to do if I don't find any alternative.
Thanks for posting that. :)
