Modern music. Answered

falls probably have seen my profile where it says I hate modern music. And I do. For A LOT of reasons.
Mostly about love or ( Censored ) with the exception of a hand full.
Has killed the drum and guitar solo, my favorite part of music.
"Robotic" themes *cough* Lady GaGa *cough*'
Have weird topics.
Pretty much no relative respect for musicians.
Can't understand half the lyrics.
Very repetitive lyrics, well said by nigahiga.
I need to think of more.

Do you mean Dragonforce is good?  Because if you do mean that, I have to disagree.  All of their songs sound the same and they are terrible live.  (In my opinion)
However I agree with you on the stuff you said before.

Yes, i agree. Through the fire and flames is INCREDIBLY popular due to Guitar Hero 3. I sorta like it. But yes, all of there other songs sound like offspring of their big one.

You should have seen her Out magazine photo shoot.  Weird.  But amazing.

I mostly like rock bands from the 70s through the 90s. There are a few bands I like from this decade though...

Since this popped into view again...
The principle problem with modern music is that most of it is geared-up to turn a profit, and that includes exploiting children (who haven't yet developed much taste and beg their parent's for cash). Also old-ladies and the un-intelligent who will watch trash like X-factor "-s got talent" "-idol".
It's the "Come in dear boy have a cigar, you're gonna go far... the band is just fantastic, that is really what I think. Oh by the way which one's Pink?" situation.
Products, Marketing, Sales, Cash - if people buy it it's good. (or it sucks)

A lot of them are "suspiciously similar" to 70s and 80s music.

All R&B is about sex.
When asked, a certain band couldn't say what their song was about, because there was no topic.

I like the Fratellis, they preserve what's good about music.
Buy Costello music if you like pop/rock. Here we stand is their other album, but it's more rock (I don't think it's as good as CM)
