And I'm still waiting for this technology to be widely (and cheaply) accessible though ...

Question : Is this a portable compact DVD-player or a mini Satellite-dish that they all wear at the top of their skull ?? =o]

. Not exactly a new idea, but they're the smallest I've seen. Search for "VR goggles" or "VR glasses" for more examples.

VR goggles have small tvs, these allow you to see normally through the glasses, than see the video feed.
