Need HELP in identifying items on a GPS unit's circuit board Answered

Picture of

I need to put items back onto this circuit board that came off. Just want to know what they are. In the picture below, they are shown with the arrow. One is a cylinder with "671 220 50z" written on it. The other is just a tiny rectangle with a solder connection on each end. My unit won't connect with satellites and I'm wondering if these that somehow came disconnected have something to do with it.

. Without a more detailed pic or explanation of the parts, I don't think anyone will be able to come up with more info than what Goodhart said.
. Look on the PCB for a letter-number designation (as per Goodhart). Cx = capacitor, Lx = inductor, Rx = resistor. VRx = potentiometer, Dx = diode, ...
. Contact the manufacturer and see if you can't obtain a schematic.
. Find another unit and get the specs and/or P/Ns off the parts.

671 220 50z appears to be a capacitor. the "rectangle" could be any 2 pin device (surface mount) resistor, capacitor, etc. What "marking" is nearest it on the board |? A letter and a number normally. Like L1 or C1 or U2 D2 etc. That will help determine what that is. And, yeah those would definitely effect its working or not.
