New Pewter Glass bottom Tankard Leaks? Answered

I've got two Pewter Glass bottomed tankards that I got second hand. They both drip where the glass meets the lead-free tin alloy bottom.  Does anyone have experience fixing this?

Any sealant should work just fine. But yes it should be somewhat safe :)

You will need a food safe silacon sealant.
