Odd Chef Answered

There was a chef I saw one TV once who does some original things with food, for instance, he made a pizza that looks like a chocolate cake. He also pureed pancakes into a liquid, and then put them on below zero plates to re-solidify them when serving. But now, I can't figure out how to find him. Any help would be appreciated.

I found him via google with a specific choice of verbage including "liquid nitrogen". Thanks for the help...the chef's name is

Was it on the Food Network? You might have some luck checking the different chefs there.

Could it be Heston Blumenthal? He's a popular proponent of 'molecular gastronomy' - I'm not aware of him doing the exact things you describe, but it sounds a bit like his sort of thing
