Outlook 2007 OST is 20GB? Answered

I have SBS 2011 running Exchange.
I have outlook 2007.
My Exchange Mailbox is 20GB and therefore my OST is 20GB.

I am starting to get outlook errors and outlook wants to start in safe mode.  Periodically it has to run a repair on the "data file"
I have an older Win 7 32 PC that I am thinking does not have the resources to handle this large OST.
I only have 4GB Ram.
Can I configure Outlook 2007 to only read the last year of email and therefore reduces the OST size?
thanks,

You can not configure Outlook to access and read your OST email. In your case you should try OST Recovery software which is very easy to use. It will repair your OST file if there exist any corruption issues as well as it will also convert OST file in PST format. After conversion of OST file you can split larger PST file into small parts too. Hence you will read your ost email.
