Pop Up Camp Trailer Answered

I would like to paint my trailer to look like a gypsy wagon. I would like it to look like wood and bricks any suggestion on what type of paint to use I want to paint it by hand. Should I sand it first. Any suggestion would be help full. Thank you.

First sand the old paint with 220 grit sand paper.

Use a tack cloth to remove the paint dust, you should be able to get tack cloth at automotive supply.

Tremclad sticks to just about anything and it prevents rust.

Tremclad comes in all the basic colors in gloss and flat and you can mix them to create different shades and hues.

Gypsy wagons were wood, sheet metal, glass, lots of materials but no bricks.

If you want it to last use automotive paints. A good epoxy based paint will work great. Just follow any prep instructions that come on the cans.
