Preview a comment. Answered

Hello,

I'm sorry if this has already been covered but I've gone back two pages and have not seen it mentioned in the bugs section.

It's not a big thing but I've noticed recently that when I comment on an Instructable, that I cannot preview my drivel first before I post the comment.

It's not really a problem but I thought that you might like to know.

I am using Safari.

Thanks

FOH

PS
I could preview this though.

I just tried it with a comment and it worked for me. What browser are you using, do you have any add-ons running in your browser that might interfere? Try clearing your cache and refreshing the page, did that help?

Hello Mikesaurus,

I am using Safari. I have emptied the cache and refreshed the page.
It still refuses to show a preview but will publish.
I don't even know what an add-on is so I assume that I'm not running any.

As I say, it's not a problemo to me, but I just thought that I would inform you.

Thanks.

PS
I can preview this replybut not when replying to a comment on my own Instructable.

Are you on a Mac with Safari? If so, that's what I use and the preview feature works... however, there may be a difference with non-Pro members (not sure), because the "rich editor" feature (from what I recall) isn't available for non-pro's either. Perhaps mikeasaurus could clarify if there's any reason it might not work for non-pro's.

As far as add-ons, do you have AdBlock installed? I don't use it myself, but AdBlock (on many different browsers) can cause some buttons/content to either not fully load or function as they should.

Hello,

Yes , a Mac with Safari.
No Adbock and I can use Rich Editor.

I've just realised that it is only when replying to a comment on my own Instructables that Preview does not work.

Preview works here and when replying to another persons Instructable.

But again, as I said, It's not a problem at all, I just thought that I would point it out.

Thanks.

I've noticed that the only difference between previewing a comment here and on an Instructable is the Captcha which is not included here. When I add the required phrase nothing happens!

Hi,
I've had a similar problem, I can preview a comment here but not on any Instructables! I'm using WIN7 64bit and have tried Chrome, Firefox and IE with no other programs (add-ons) running in the browser, I've also cleared the cache etc.
