Pro Cancelled Prematurely By A Bug? (after only 11 days!) Answered

I upgraded to a pro membership on September 14th and got the receipt in my e-mail for $8.85 for a three-month Pro subscription. On September 25th I got an e-mail saying:

Hi daemonsan,

We just wanted to let you know that your Pro membership has expired. Your Instructables membership is now back to the regular level.

If you would like to keep your Pro features active, you can upgrade to Pro at any time here:

and when I come to the website I am indeed a normal user again. What can be done to fix this?

I purchased a $39.95 - 2 year PRO membership on 10/3/2010.

I received confirmation of my 2 year PRO Membership purchase from PayPal as well as from the Intructables Robot on 10/3/2010.

When I logged on today, Sunday, January 16, 2011 I noticed (much to my surprise) that I was NO LONGER A PRO MEMBER!

Upon further examination of communications from from Intructables regarding my membership I discovered that an e-mail had been sent to me on 10/14/2010 stating that my PRO Membership had EXPIRED.

Hey sfsunny, you'll get a quicker response if you start your own help topic, or PM Randofo directly.

This happened due to a bug in our system that affected a few members with a particular fairly unusual set of circumstances. I'll PM you with the details; it was totally our fault not yours and I'm working on fixing the bug so it won't affect anyone else in a similar situation.

That is odd. I will have the development team investigate this immediately and reinstate your account.

Thank you very much for taking care of this. Apologies for the double topic, thought the first had been lost in space
