Problem with trackpad on Dell Latitude D820 Answered

Is there a way to turn of the 'tap to click' feature on my Dell Latitude D820? It's really been bothering me. For example, I'll be typing a paper and then my hand will brush the trackpad, moving the cursor to elsewhere on the page.
Any help will be appreciated.

Have you checked the setting in Control Panel -> Mouse?

If so, make sure you have drivers installed by going to:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/28/DriverDetails/Product/latitude-d820?driverId=XV8FK&osCode=WW1&fileId=2731100044
and download the driver and install it.

If not, Control Panel -> Mouse and look around for dell specific settings.

Thank you thank you thank you! I'd checked the Control Panel -> Mouse thing, but I didn't have the driver downloaded. That fixed everything!
