Publishing unbuilt designs Answered

I've got a project that I've been designing in SketchUp (a camper platform for attaching a full size tent to a small pickup truck) that I will definitely post on Instructables when, and if, I build it. The thing is, I've never built something like this before and I would really like to have opinions on the design before I start cutting wood. What is general consensus on publishing unbuilt designs? It's not really a collaboration, although that might be a good model for what I'm doing, it's just an incomplete project that I would like to solicit comments on before construction.

OK, I have the Instructable up and it is unpublished, but marked as a collaboration. I just added the Make group as collaborators, but if anyone wants to be added, just ask. According to a comment I got, you should be able to access the unpublished instructable via this link:

Let me know if I did this right...

You can start it as a Collaboration and invite others to join in with their input. Members will be able to peruse and edit the colaboration until you decide that the project is complete and publishable.
