Links in email from 2/18 are being redirected to the page attached
Has anyone found a fix for this? It doesn’t matter the path I take to instructables either using the email link or typing it manually I still get redirected on my phone. I’ve cleared out all the web data, history and any open tabs. I am still having the same issue.

I have this exact problem too!! I don’t want to have to stup using instructables, but it’s pretty much unusable. Happened twice within one minute. What’s going on??
This happens to me all the time. It only happens on instructsbles. I am so sad ... it blocks me from the content and often I don’t come back... I expect I will have to quit going to instructsbles at all soon...
I talked with someone and they said it might have to do with whether you are logged into the site on your mobile. If you are logged in you shouldn't be served ads and these spam ads shouldn't come up :S
I have this Amazon Spam/redirect problem too when I view the Instructables site from my I-phone. I thought it was an issue with my phone but tonight, my husbands phone did the same thing when he viewed the Instructables site from his phone browser. It doesn’t happen on any other sites besides this one. Very strange.
I had problems with these ads back in July. This is the response I got from Sam:"Unfortunately browser redirect viruses are very common in Facebook. We do not have any advertising technology that would allow for a redirect of the Instructables page and I am unable to duplicate this error with this URL after repeated attempts. The adware responsible for these redirects is typically bundled with other apps that can be downloaded . Unfortunately, some free downloads do not adequately disclose that other software will also be installed and users may find that they have installed adware without their knowledge. When infected with this adware program, other common symptoms include: Advertising banners are injected with the web pages that you are visiting.Random web page text is turned into hyperlinks. Browser popups appear which recommend fake updates or other software. Other unwanted adware programs might get installed without the user’s knowledge."I scanned my phone for scamware, but wasn't successful. After some time the ads stopped though. Now I have the same problem again with accessing the site through Facebook and E-mail. And reading the comments here and on Facebook, I am not the only one.
I'm having trouble reproducing this. So, when you click anything from the newsletter on 2/18 (titled Off Gride Power Supply) you get taken to Instructables and then the page redirects to the amazon page shown above?
I am having the same issue. This is an advertiser or server side issue from everything I read online and not a browser issue. They need to find the source and remove it. This is not the first time it has happened from visiting the Instructables site via a newsletter item.
