Searchable FAQs?
is there a way to search the instructable FAQ's? trying to find out why my return key is not giving me a new line when editing instructable instructions. thanks

1. There are no FAQs.
The site is all beta and an official FAQ was too hard to maintain.
2. You might want to edit the topic to put it in the "Bugs" category. The search right now only looks up instructables - not comments or topics, don't know when ibles HQ is going to change their criteria.
3. What operating system and browser are you using? There were some recent problems if doing an ible on IoS or mobile stuff. If you tried to edit in a "preview" mode, that area will not take input.

I am using Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16540 running under Windows 7. I can paste a line feed in, but hitting the enter key in the edit window does nothing. Thanks, Mark

Do you have any browser add-ons running (like AdBlock or GreaseMonkey)?
Also, when editing and you press enter, what happens? Nothing?
What happens when you press enter on other sites using the same browser?

No add-ons other than the usual Microsoft, realplayer, java, adobe, apple, HP, AVG, and Skype.

Any browser add-on that manages scripts will have adverse results when browsing our site. If you don't want to disable all your add-ons, try it in another browser
