Smaller Scissors? Answered

I was looking at the Gingher scissors on amazon when I suddenly realized 8 '' scissors may be too big for me - I spend most of my time on the road and at places where there isn't a table nearby. Would you recommend getting a smaller pair of scissors (around 4 - 5 inches) in this case? Thanks!

Honestly, I'd recommend getting a larger pair of scissors like the Ginghers for general use and a smaller pair of scissors (embroidery style scissors would be great!) for the road!

The bigger scissors make cutting fabric a breeze - smaller scissors are not good for that, but they're great for everything else. :)

If you travel by plane, scissors can be a problem so be careful how you pack. I've taken very small folding scissors in carry-ons so you can do embroidery, knitting or sewing.
