Stack Calculator (RPN) Answered

Has any one made/have plans for making a stack calculator (reverse polish notation)? I kinda want to make one this summer so if no one else puts something up maybe I'll try to post something in the next couple months.

Here is some info on RPN for anyone interested:

Stack-based calculations and languages rule! (all mathematical calculations have to be converted to RPN in computers at some point anyway.)

Might not be what you're looking for, but both postscript and forth are stack driven... Good luck with creating a physical stack; it sounds like fun.

Hey cool thanks for replying. Yeah the software would be super easy... I am wanting to make a physical one. I don't really have a use for it, I just always thought it'd be cool to make one.

I think lots of people want to build one. In actuality I gave up using an HP because they would not allow their use on tests and the switch in thinking RPN vs a regular calculator added to the stress.

Do you want to make a physical calculator that uses RPN or want to make an application program that uses RPN? Hewlett Packard does have a line of calculators that uses RPN. I think they now make some with what some would say normal common keyboard input. There are plenty of RPN calculators apps that emulate an RPN calculator if you search for it.
