I was a IE DIE PLEASE DIE fan, for a long time. Now i just ignore its existance. I have never actually used IE as my main browser, i went straight from netscape to ff to opera, safari, then to camino, but then back to safari, as it is so much better now. Especially since they hit version 3.

'I have never actually used IE as my main browser, i went straight from netscape to ff to opera, safari, then to camino, but then back to safari, as it is so much better now. Especially since they hit version 3.' yes, i did, for many years, and camino is the mac optimized version of firefox, safari is better, faster, and more useful than both.

The latest Firefox is pretty secure too. I have read of a few problems with Safari (although I do have it... ;-)

Yeah, i wouldnt recommend safari for windows, it is only like 7 months old after all!!! But on Mac, safari is easily the best, i guess because its so well built into the operating system, i mean webclips for example!

:-) I remember the first time I loaded Opera into a machine (way back a number of years.....v.1.1 or something) and 2 minutes later it finally came up and loaded 5 windows at a time.....*sigh* That guaranteed I wasn't going to use that again before they improved it :-)

Hmm, Sunbanks needs add-ons.

I recommend the following:

  • dragdrop upload
  • download statusbar
  • all-in-one sidebar
  • WOT
