Timer in Visual Studio 2008 Answered

I need to create a timer in visual studio 2008. I want to have a Console.WriteLine("words"); and then a timer that delays for about one second before it prints the next Console.WriteLine("words"); Can anyone help me?

VS 2008 is an IDE ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Integrated_development_environment ), not a programming language!
Console.WriteLine("words"); looks like C#. In this case you could use
System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(1000);
