Tongue and mouth model. Answered

I work at a speech training center, and I need to illustrate how to make certain sounds. I thought the best way was to use an adjustable tongue and cheek model. Doesn't have to be a real replica of a tongue, just something to illustrate the tongue and cheek positions for different sounds. Needs to be adjustable. Any ideas?
Thanks.

You could use a dental model for the mouth and make a flexible tongue, cheeks and lips out of sugru.

You could try to cut a hollow rubber ball in half and then cut a mouth so you have something flexible for the face and jaw/cheeks. I guess anything from a strip of felt or a tongue cut from the rest of the rubber ball to make the tongue part attached to the inside. You could even duct tape it together. Good luck.
