Trouble Finding Transformer Answered

I am trying to find two 24 volt 2amp transformers. I have been to a few websites and have found none. Does anyone know of a store where I can buy these transformers?

Don't forget that a transformer rated for the same voltage with a higher amperage will still work.

Not really. I usually salvage stuff. Look at laptop power supplies

i think a PC power supply can be modified to add 24 V 10 A DC output (never tried myself) the output is not floating but is +/- 12 V to ground a power supply trashed at computer repair center is usually ok if you replace all the blown capacitors and there are no signs of something else burned (i use some in my computers) other option is rewound microwave transformer yet another one is 2 X 12 V halogen light transformers connected in series (magnetic only)
