Turn off auto renew Answered

I need to cancel the auto renew on my Pro membership before it expires. Can someone in IT please do this for me since it doesn't seem to be one of the changeable settings on your profile? Thanks.

Hello, I signed up for one month as well and just received a second month bill! I followed your directions and went to my You tab, then to the Pro Memebership tab and see that the auto renew button is already set at "Off". When I signed up it was for 1 month. Can I get a refund for the second month please?

I signed up for a 1 month membership in oct for halloween projects, and now my bank acct has been charged for an auto renew that i never authorized. I would like it shut off, and refunded please. I can not find a "you" link or any other link to make the changes. I will be contacting my bank to let them know this was an unauthorized purchase to my acct.

Since the admin won't seem to help us, I'll offer what may be the solution.

The only link in your Pro tab (at least mine) is to Paypal. Log into Paypal and search for "recurring payments dashboard."

Select Instructables from the list. Scroll down to the bottom and click Cancel Subscriptions.

Though I would hate to think it were true of Instructables.com, great difficulty in canceling memberships is a deliberate strategy on the part of some companies, as is not having a phone number for customers to call.

I promise I'm trying to do it myself, but I can't seem to disable to auto-renew.. The link provided takes me to Paypal and I can't fathom where on their site to turn it off. Please turn mine off as well or link me to specific instructions on how to do so.

Ok, I found the payment options (1 month, quarterly and 2-year payments) by logging OUT of my account and going to the PRO button (why isn't that info available while I'm IN my account?).

After Christmas is over, probably in March, I will want to switch to the 2 year payment. How will I go about doing this? Thanks. :)

I need to get the auto-renew turned off on my account. Please write some steps to turn off for a PayPal account. I don't find anywhere this an may be an abuse from you or from Paypal. Please resolve this "forced auto-renew" think. Thanks.

AS Randofo explains....

"Click on the "You" link on the top of the site and then click on the "Pro Membership" tab. This should provide you with a link to manage active subscriptions."

I will go ahead and cancel your subscription for you.

However, for future reference, click on the "You" link on the top of the site and then click on the "Pro Membership" tab. This should provide you with a link to manage active subscriptions.

If I could get this done as well that would be really cool. In my profile, all it does is link me to my PayPal account, and I can't find anything there that would do it.
