Facebook is a great way I use to keep in contact with my friends and family when there's no means to talk to mean via telephone or face to face, I also use it stay in touch with all my school friends and every now and then we organize a night out for Chinese so posting an event on facebook is the easiest way to go. Twitter is great way to meat new people, Just yesterday a group of us in Hastings meet up in the park and had a picnic (Twicnic) and pimms. We all got to see the people behind the username and was a really great day. And we are doing it again next month. If you don't like twitter your probably just angry because you've got no followers ;-)

Wait. So you met with random people you don't know in real life? Or did they just post pictures of them self?

Actually, that makes me have a question. Obviously when you're a baby you don't know who your mom or dad is, but when you get a bit older, how to you seemingly know automaticly who your mom and dad are, and to call them mom and dad?

They weren't axe wielding murderers ;)

Yes, Do you expect to stay friends with all the people you had as friends in school for your whole life. It's really fun to go out meeting new people, It's how I found the photography group in Hastings too.

I just didn't know it was in real life or not. I was just curious.

Youtube is better than all 3 of those sites combined, and ibles is better than myspace, facebook, twitter, and youtube combined.

YouTube is a one trick pony, video. Facebook and myspace do so much more. And don't even get me started on the YouTube community.

I can do everything I cant do on youtube here. Some stuff on facebook and myspace I dont need. You cant control what the community is or does no matter what the site.

Where, my good sirs and ma'am s, do I tell the creators of these narcissistic, attention seeking websites to go jump in a lake? I herd on CNN recently that based on new studies, these websites have made our generation(current college-goers, that's who the study was on) the most narcissistic in history. That is pretty sad, with loads of young adults going "look at me, look at me!" Its quite annoying. Basically I agree with loads of other people here, that sh*t should die a quick and painfull dose of reality!
