Two People on an Instructable Answered

My wife and I would like to collaborate on an instructable for the fashion challenge.  Are we still elligible to win a prize in doing so?  Do I need her written consent if we publish this through my account?  The rules indicated that more than one author could exist for a given entry.

Yes, you can still win a prize.

Officially, it will go to whoever is the primary author of the project. After that, you and your wife will have to fight over who actually gets it.

Do collaborators have the option of having a prize sent to either collaborator? Or does it have to be the person listed as primary author? I would like to collaborate on several projects, but, my fellow collaborators are not in a prize eligible country. I would rather not be listed as the primary author for someone else's project.

Any of the collaborators' contact details can be used for contact details, but remember that HQ will send PMs and emails to the primary author only, so they will have to give your address to HQ, should you win.

If a project is a collaboration, you still only get one set of prizes - it's up to the collaborators to work out who gets what.

What if the author has an instructable in a contest and then collaborates with another member... Then are both eligible for prizes or is only one considered as then one author would have 2 prizes?

There will be only one prize handed out if multiple authors work on one project. :)

So you'll need to work out some kind of shared custody, haha!

Laser cutter + hacksaw = broken friendship!

I don't know if there's a rule to cover that.

My personal instinct is to just go by primary authors, and ignore collaborators.
