Use batteries instead of 12v AC Adapter Answered

I recently bought a couple LED strips from a website, the technical info stated that the strips are ready to go on a 12v AC adapter. I found out I need 160mA to power the small strips I bought; (90 mA for one, 70mA for the other). I'd rather use batteries though, is this possible? I figure since I don't need hardly any amperage then it shouldn't be an issue but I haven't been able to find the right information to prove my thought correct.

Thanks in advance.

you need to confirm all the battery output is DC12V,because led strips working in DC12v,if so,you can connect the battery with the led strips,it can work normal

If the strips need 12 V AC a DC battery isn't going to run them.
