Vancouver Mini Maker Faire 2013
June 1-2 @ PNE

***UPDATE June 3, 2013****
What a weekend! Thanks to everyone that stopped by and sharing your excitement about our amazing community. It was great to meet everyone, and if you gave us your username then you've already been sent a special Maker Faire digital patch.

An extra special thanks to ChrysN, M3G, SHIFT! and Stumpchunkman for volunteering their time to help at the booth and share their experiences with other makers. You guys are great! Check out a few of the pictures from the Faire, please share your own in the comments below if you have some.

Instructables will have a booth there again this year, so stop on by and say hello!
Like last year, our booth will have the usual assortment of DIY bric-a-brack from our community and our booth is a great place to meet-up with other makers; we've also got a special treat for any member that identifies themselves with their username at the booth!

Early bird tickets are on sale now, but only for the month of April, so get yours quick!
Ticket Prices (early bird weekend pass):
Family (up to 5 people, max 2 adults): $50
Single: Adult $20, Student $14, Child $10

I'm looking for volunteers to help run the booth!
If you're in the Greater Vancouver Area during the dates and want to help out please drop me a PM and we'll work on a time.

What is your favourite thing about Maker Faire? Were you there last year, are you going again this year?
Let me know in the comments below. See you there!

Will Instructables be at this year's Maker Faire?

Unfortunately we won't have a presence this year for the VMF. Drop me a PM if you're planning on having your own personal booth this year and I'll hook you up with some goodies!

Darn! Unfortunately I don't have enough stuff/the ability to run my own booth, but thanks for the offer!

I went to the Maker Faire and saw Instructables there but when I gave my username at the booth I incorrectly thought it was kowalybe!

Ah, in Canada you have to put your guns out on a table. We keep them tucked in our waistband.

We're civilized like that.
This was the gun on the table.

Way to go! Any chance you would like to come to Central Ontario? Free lodging, free good food and good company available. I'd love to "show off" all of you! :0)
