Well, i believe there are already some good videos on YouTube. So do you think that we should use already made videos off YouTube, or should we make our own. Please help me make a disicion for the next instructable.

I think someone should start a contest to see who could create the the best how to skate video.

Yeah let's make our own...people get to see who they're learning from and it's easier to teach..

Only use out-sourced videos if the copyright holder has given permission. I can see why you would use others' videos for something like skateboarding (it's a hard thing to make a decent video of), but you're supposed to post your own work here. How about contacting a YouTube skateboard video maker and working together on bespoke videos? Maybe they would do walk-throughs or slow-motion versions of their tricks just for you. That would be mutually beneficial if they used your text with their video on a skateboarding site.

By the way, I've recorded a bunch of stuff for the Half pipe Instructable, but it's not all that great because I only have 2ft (next to the half pipe) to work with. (there's a fence and a wall). I'll post the vid on Youtube before I put it up on Instructables and ask you for your opinion on it.

Make your own. Plagerism sucks.
