How do you remove water streaks or stains from leather that has gotten wet?
It can be tricky to do this properly, but it is definitely possible. Take a clean damp sponge (damp, not wet), and begin removing the stain by carefully rubbing your sponge over it. Focus particularly on the outline of the stain and work outwards, dampening the entire area of leather where the stain is located so you don't create new outlines. Wipe the area down with a clean dry cloth and then let it dry completely. Then apply saddle soap or another leather conditioner to soften it and help protect it from further stains.
