I've seen some entries with watermarked images - do you recommend that?
Honestly, I never worry about them. It's really a personal choice! For me, I'm not taking artsy images, I'm just taking simple images for tutorials and I don't feel a big need to "protect" my work. I don't worry very much about theft - it tends to happen, watermarks or not! (Folks just crop them out if you put them somewhere that doesn't obscure the image) In my experience, people are more apt to steal a whole instructable and republish it, rather than just stealing a couple images. Much easier to track down and stop!
The one major pro to watermarking is that it's free marketing - people can trace you back by your images!
