Welcome to Animal Care, Rescue, and Rehabilitation! Here you can learn how to nurse wild or domestic animals back to health, share your knowledge and experience, or give simple tips and tricks. Any Instructables involving animal care of any kind are welcome. You can ask questions here regarding animal care in this topic. ( Example: I just saw a baby bird fall out of it's nest, what do I do?) I might not be able to help you in some cases (I know most about rabbits), but hopefully others can.

Its a little of subject, but I'm interested in getting a raven. Where would I go? (I think its a little dangerous to be stealing eggs) Care and feeding?

Yes, I don't know if stealing eggs is the best idea, it could be illegal. Try asking employees of your local pet store about it. Otherwise, I don't know.

Well, stay away from Catbirds and other Mocking birds' nests then.....they guard their young with a vengeance.... ;-)

Sometimes my dog breaths really weird, so we have a tap her chest, but occaisonaly she gets scared, and the breathing comes more wildly, and she starts breathing so heavily, she starts snorting, and it's very disturbing and scary. Do you know what this is? What is causing this?

. My first two guesses are: 1) She's panting because she's a little warm. No problem; maybe give her some water. 2) She's experiencing anxiety (or whatever the canine equivalent is). Do your best to calm her (gentle stroking, cooing, &c;). Try to avoid whatever makes her anxious. . . It could be respiratory problem. Need to see a veterinarian for that.

It's really hard to explain, it sounds like when humans sniff up boogers and mucas.

You really don't want to steal eggs as you never know what just how long they have to go to hatch. The can be shocked, and die and just keep going bad before you know it. Look in the back of bird mags. (like Birdtalk) Talk to breeders there that specially in unsusal birds. They might know connections to ravens available.
