What can I do with parts from an old police radio? Answered

I have an old police radio and i dont know what to do with the parts. Ive already taken it apart makeing sure i didnt break any of the parts, but i have no idea what to do now.

How old? If it is a transistor radio, depending on which portion of it works, you can tune it using different configurations of the modulator. Or you could use the useful parts for other projects: the antenna, the tuner (probably a variable capacitor), the volume control (potentiometer), etc. If by a police radio, you mean a transmitter/receiver type carried in the squad car, be careful with using the transmitter; that could get you into trouble.
