I have a lot of old electronic devices... Which are common ones to contain a TIP31?
The most logical source for at TIB31 for me would be Radio Shack. Other that that, TIP31 is a standard type of NPN bipolar junction transistor used for medium power linear switching applications.

If user "Re-design" was paying any meaningful attention to the OP, he would have realized that his question was NOT about WHERE to source the TIB31 but "which are common [devices] to contain one".
can u please tell me which transistor similar to tip31
comparatively what r the transistors similar to tip31
I've never come across one though I've salvaged some 20+ different types of household electronics. They don't seem to be too common in smaller devices now that more sophisticated means of amplification can be done so cheaply by large companies. I suggest going on eBay and ordering a 10-pack of them. it'll only be a few bucks
I'm have this one thing called a "Electronic store" that has a bunch.
