Mine is so awesome! Mine means select in Italian! I got this name from switching the languages on my old DS lite, when i found that when you put it in Italian language, the select button turned into Seleziona! I have used this name everywhere!

My surname is "Lowne." I get called "Lowney," and it recently came to light that that is what my cousin gets called, and my Dad. Meh, I don't know where it came from.

People are annoyed when i use logic. For example, last year at school people were talking about how fun it would be to ride on a humpback whale. I listed reasons whey that would be impractical and nearly impossible. They sent me to the principal for ruining their fun and they tossed in a "he punched me" for extra trouble. I told her the real story and BAM one week no recess for lying. And i thought the U.S was a democracy.

Democracy has nothing to do with rules enforcement.  Did your fellow students vote on your punishment?  No?  School is not a democracy.

The U.S. is, however, a lawyerocracy.  I'm sure you could find a sufficiently hungry personal injury attorney to file a lawsuit against the principal and all of "they".

You're such a downer, lol. But you are right, school isn't a democracy, it's a dictatorship, one of my teachers told me that, haha.

Elementary and Middle school was unfair for me too, the teachers didn't try very hard to find someone innocent, they just punished. High school and beyond are a lot different.

My name is based on the word oblivious, just because it's a cool sounding word. I wrote a list of possible modifications to the word until I reached oblivitus. I use this technique whenever I need to create a name.

TheDunkis (author)2009-10-11

Dunkis is some random nickname that some peers came up with like 3-4 years ago. I don't know how they thought of it but I guess they just twisted my real name Duncan up. For all I know it could mean something that I would regret putting it as my nickname for. When I signed up for one of the first websites and I couldn't think of any good usernames so I just used my nickname. I later added The to emphasis that I was the only Dunkis, unique and original or something like that.

I figured that the most logical reason that people would call you dunkis is if you ruled at basketball.

Oh well.
