The Milky Way Galaxy. Pandora orbits Alpha Centauri A.
They mention it near the beginning of the movie

Actually Pandora Orbits a Jupiter-Like Gas Planet wich sorrounds ACA (Alpha Centauri A). ACA Is also the nearest solersystem to our. ACA is 4.42 Lightjears away from the Earth. The Gas Planet and the Moon Pandora really exist, but nowone knows if there is really intelligent life or eaven unintelligent Life.
