What server ????? Answered

when I have been tryin' to get assistance for my digital box ,  and try sendin' th' request they wont let it thru  because I cant tell them what servers I am on ( Pop3 ect...)

I HAVE ABSOLUTLY NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKIN' ABOUT !!

I also have no clue as to how I'm supposed to find out !  I admit to bein' barely computor literate and need help !!

OK, calm down.
What service is it that you're having trouble with and who provides it?
Are you calling customer-service for the box or someone else.
POP3 is an E-mail server format which is "Post Office Protocol 3"

"They" are Virgin Media and customer servive is remote.codes@googlemail.com ! The next to last (I think) page before sending in th' request fer help demands you tell them what server you use fer incoming and out going e-mail and if you cant correctly answer those questions you are stuck , it will not allow you to go any farther !

I'm surprised / suspicious that they're not giving you a virginmedia email. But I looked at their help page:
http://help.virginmedia.com/
And I found what you probably need, e.g.:
http://help.virginmedia.com/system/selfservice.controller

What is your digital box?

Who are "They"?

Don't feel too bad, I can get around pretty well in computer land and "I don't know what server I'm on either".
