I want to remodel soon and this will help with planning.

If you just want a floor plan: Graph paper and a straight edge and a tape measure works pretty darned well and cheaply. I've done that for years, usually before moving in so I could plan where furnishings were going to go. Estimating walls as 6" thick seems to work pretty well for that purpose.
I'd go with that too.

Orksecurity has the right answer. I did it myself when we moved into our house. The six-inch wall thickness is essential, or you'll end up with things not aligning properly.
