Whats do you think is the best type of glue for wood? The one that would dry the fastest and be the strongest?

I've used the "middle" (blue) "titebond" wood glue and never had a problem. It sets in about 15 minutes but dries overnight. I've built a milling machine with that stuff and it held together fine.

It depends; are you gluing the wood across its length or ends? here's a chart for that http://www.gluehow.com/recommendation/Wood/to/Wood

For wood; A basic white glue (Elmers) or yellow wood glue (also Elmers). If you were ever to break it, it would break anywhere, other than the bonding point.
