you know, what makes you stay on instructables instead of wandering?
The equation is simple: My love of helping others + my grounding in technical "stuff" = my need to stay about + my need to learn more stuff The equation balances !

Besides, you all are great to be around (at least in the virtual world ;-)
. All the sex and drugs and rock 'n' roll? Nope. Virtually none of the first two and not near enough of the last. <listening to Black Sabbath's "Sweet Leaf" in the background as I type this>. It's one of the few places that haven't banned me? No, believe it or not.. Lot's of neat ppl and forums that get waaayyyy off topic. Yeah! That's it! For the most part, ppl seem to be able to disagree without getting too rude. Even the rude stuff seems to be more funny than offensive. I've learned a LOT of stuff on here - no matter what the question, somebody seems to have a decent answer.
> It's one of the few places that haven't banned me? Really ??????You seem so unbannable* !!(* this neologism is officially part of the International-English language)
My motivations is instructables. Without a community to share what I can make, I probably would not have done more than half of the projects that I have posted. One of my mottoes are, " It might not suit you, but it sure has got to suit at least one person from around the world."Instructables provides a friendly environment, with no limits as to what you can do. I have yet to find a site remotely similar to this site.
The people on here are so nice and the projects are just so fun to make. And like Nacho said I like how we get off topic so much, becuase I do that a LOT.
this is the best diy site
make is just a blog
other sites are too specific.
never gets old
There is nothing else worth looking at on the entire internet. Other than that its my need to build and tinker with stuff.
