when and how much should I add salt in the butter making process??

If you choose to make homemade salted butter add it when the cream has turned to thick whipped cream stage. Then keep processing. (I would add no more than 1/8 teaspoon, whip again and then taste it. If you wish for a saltier flavor and more, pinch by pinch, until you have the saltiness you desire.)
