Fisherman's Terminal.........Dumpster dive Ballard
Goodwill and similar thrift stores, garage sales, and flea markets. There aren't very many flea markets in Seattle, though.
Most supermarkets, big box stores and some local establishments have a public bulletin board on display somewhere. Go around to some of those places and leave a message that you will haul off the old microwaves free and leave a phone number where you can be contacted.
Dumpster dive and roam the streets on trash day ask friends and family it they have any thing in their garages etc.
Is there a municipal waste facility (a dump) somewhere? You're probably not meant to take microwaves out of the place, but maybe... L
I would start by watching here. http://seattle.craigslist.org/zip/
