Why is the downloaded PDF outdated? Answered

When I click on Download PDF at https://www.instructables.com/id/Spin-Art-Machine-Kit (an Instructable I created), it downloads a version of the Instructable with older photos and content.  I thought perhaps there was a delay in updating the PDF but I waited a day and it still is happening.

As an example, the third page of the PDF (Step 6) shows alligator clips attached to a slide switch.  But in the published/online version of the Instructable, Step 6 shows a slide switch with wire leads.

If you read through the comments, you'll also see that they are out of date as well.

To save time, the PDF is created the first time somebody downloads it, and it then stored away so that future downloads by other members are quicker.

If the differences between the current version and the PDF are significant, drop an email to service@instructables.com, inlcuding the URL of the project, and ask them to delete the filed PDF and generate a fresh one.

AUTODESK (owner of instructables ) is changing the software for look and feel without regard to upset of little used features !!

A risky work around would be to publish your Spin-Machine-Kit under another name,

Verify the pics are PDF correct and then empty the deficient ible.
